Duh- that IS also what i meant. In fact, judging from Trailer #3... they actually exploit the situation of Mars quite heavily.

Like it was said, this movie seems to be completly erasing trek as we know it and replacing it with its own version of it.

Hehe, I'm looking forward to everbody's reaction (everybody who doesn't already know)  to the appearance of a familiar face, when the movie is out. :grin:  

 

fitting Star Trek to the current market of 15+ years old

*grin* When I saw the first picture of this flick, I instantaniously thought of dawson's Creek in Space.  :rolleyes:

You mean the infamous Dallas episode "it was all an dream". I've heard rumurs of an "Butterfly Effect" meaning everything from TOS, TNG, DS9, and Voyager did not take place or branch offed new time line. Either way, I'll have my hard earned credits ready and in line at the multiplex....Bison... :borg:
