thats not true gnats. you can win without killing a single unit, just playe against a very bad player / easy ai and buy citadel upgrades and let the reinforcments do the job

No! Read the guide again! Citadels count as units! You (meaning your team) must kill it!
well then the "you" is a bit far streched, but if you play domination you could do without kills 
Oh, and remember: if you don't "kill enough units" to win,
IT'S YOUR BLOODY FAULT.
I totally thought you were going to say "build tanks", and those of us from the GPG forum would go "LOL", and everyone else would go "WTF"...and then we would LOL at the fact that everyone else is going WTF.
And that's why it would have been funny!
This strategy doesn't work anymore... I think it got nerfed with the "Day 0" patch. It's no surprise though, it always worked.
