Yeah, I released the Mad Scientist Mod v1.5 last night, and it is compatible with the new entrenchment release.

Hey ordian, have you been able to get any maps made with the new galaxy forge and your mod into the game?  I managed to get the game to show my map by adding a galaxy folder to your mod and altering the galaxy.manifest file, but when the game begins any non-standard planets are simply not there.  Thanks.

Simply open the "non-standard" maps and change the version number from 2 to 3!

Simple as that  ;) (not forgeting to do the changes relative to NormalPlay and QuickPlay)! Thats for Pre-V1.14 maps!

no that wasn't it, the new galaxy forge creates them with a version number 3, had to get the update for entrenchment.  Didn't realize there was an update already.  Turns out the game had a problem loading mods.  Then move the mod to the updated version mod folder and map works great.

Oh...damn! Sorry then! Forget my previous post :(

If you rename your map to one of the stock maps eg. "Krono's Cross" it'll play just fine. this worked for me. hope it helps

according to what blair told me, the maps just have to be added to the galaxy.manifest with the correct format. I might update the map updater do add maps to the manifest or I might write another little utility to add the nonstandard maps
