Games and their expansions (vertical subgroup)

vertical subgrouping

Take for instance "Sins of a solar empire" and the "Sins of a solar empire - entrenchment" expansion.
I would like to be able to set these on the same column, like on the ordinary desktop surface, only then within a fence.

Now:
[a] [b] [c] [d]

would like:
[a] [b] [d]
     [c]

To solve this in a user managable way, perhaps a sorting/layout setting option per fence.
Breaking the fence up into a grid like formation would be ideal for me :P

A per fence setting is what most users would like while scanning the threadlines (headlines of the threads).
Skinning support for each fence also seems highly requested. (Background images / texture for each fence)

Thanks for this great product! :D
I hope you can increase the amount of customizable options even further.
either way this desktop organizer is just what I needed for a clutter free desktop.

Or, similarly, sub-fences that are part of the parent fence would be nice.

For instance, I'm a fan of both Command and Conquer and Dawn of War, as well as having a few MMOs. Being able to have "Games," and inside it "C&C," "DOW" and "MMO" would be nice. Unless I'm totally missing this functionality now.

Just create one fence for each game+addons and put all these fences into one area of your desktop. There would be no 'Games' fence, OK, but sub fences would IMHO clutter the desktop up. Fences is supposed to clean it up and it does so perfectly the way it works now
