UI Inquiry

Concerning planetary icons, camera twist, and the orbital field.

Hello all, I think this is my first actual post, not sure as I haven't logged in in ages... anyways, I'm interested in digging into the world of modding the SOSE interface, but I don't want to set out only to discover midways that the things I want to change aren't possible. So, on to the meat- are these changes feasible, and does anyone know offhand if any existing mods already feature them?

  1. Planetary icons being removed in cinematic mode. I am so tired of trying to get a nice shot while there's a meh-looking 2D icon in the background, instead the distant glowing orb you'd expect to see.
  2. Distant star system icons (the dust clouds) disappearing as system backgrounds appear. It's a small detail, but it gives me a headache that I can see distant stars as though they're inside the same background art as another star, when the background changes between locales.
  3. Failing the aformentioned, what about making only a single background art appear for all stars, and be visible at any zoom level?
  4. Hotkeys to toggle camera twist and grids on and off.

And the most audacious of these, that's probably also impossible: An orbital plane that rotates with my view when twist is turned on. No matter what angle my camera is twisted at relative to the planet or other objects, the orbital plane upon which I give orders and place structures remains oriented with my view to easily give vertical move orders and structure placements (by twisting the view to rotate the plane). The angle of the plane relative to my view could be toggled by holding a key like CTRL or something user-defined- that is, by holding the key down, the plane would lock in place while the camera rotated normally. Possibly reverese this, and keep the camera and plane unlocked unless the key is held. I hope that made sense.

Any help, advice, et cetera is greatly appreciated!

And of course I tried googling it, whoever that was, but I had no luck getting the answers I was after. I posted this thinking the modding regulars would have enough understanding of the forge tools to help me out by telling me if these changes are possible with the standard tools. So much for that...

Certainly someone in the modding community knows for sure, whether these things are possible or not...

to clairify more id actualy post edited pictures showing exactly what you want removed or selectable. also i could be wrong but i believe there was a key combo to remove the UI for pictures/movies.  (although some of them i know cant really be edited. in all honestly, just about no one has bothered touching or tweeking the UI past making it transparent. it would be a welcome mod if someone modifyed it a bit more or made it look a bit more intresting. problem is most things are hardcoaded for that, an example is you cant move things around (such as where the unit build area is, abilitys, ect.).
