Community Suite Project

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

Skinning.net are having a Community Suite Project and are inviting all SDN members that wish to participate to leave a comment with what they would like to contribute to the Suite.

At the moment we are looking for a WindowBlind, Dream, Wall, LogonVista, Weather Widget, Rainlendar. Other items could possibly be included in the Community Suite.

So far, Jimbo, 2of3 and lovely62 have agreed to participate. Please leave a comment here as to your desire to take part and which skinning item you would like to work on. Someone will contact you to get the ball rolling.

Thank you.

I'm finished with the Vista version of the blind!

Team members can download and test it from the sky drive. For the rest of you, Here's a screeny :)

I have been unable to gain access to Skinning.net for the last couple of days :( . Otherwise I'd post this screeny there!

Sweet Tim!!!   Gonna test it!

I've uploaded the dream to the Skydrive.

I would appreciate it if team members with access would give it a test run and let me know what you think.

It's a 1920x1080 mpeg2 (90 seconds in length)  encoded at a low bit rate, so it should use very little CPU.

(Edit: preview quit working when I tried to edit it...going to post it again)

Cars, Tim .... your work is simply stunning. This is really the quality I would expect in a Master Skin.  5* , not a meteorite less.

(2nd attempt on the preview of the dream)

For others without access to the Sky drive, here's a preview of the first 30 second of the dream.

Harley, Animations look good.

Question...Isn't deleting and recycling the same thing?

Also, did you notice that the globe is spinning backwards. o_O

Final Delete bypasses the recycle bin....never seen it in use, but the animation is there

Also, did you notice that the globe is spinning backwards.

it spins the same way as the start button and loading animation on the WB.

I like it that way ;)

Shift+Suppr works too. Preferably on a folder with a lot of small files so you have the time to see the UI.

I just uploaded the (Finished) walls to the finished folder on skydrive. Two walls included. One at 1600 x 1200, and one at 1920 x 1200. Should cover both normal and widescreen screens. Both ratios, 4:3  and 5:4. Second shot shows docks and tiles, which are also in the finished section on skydrive.
