I have gotten Vista and have as of yet not been able to get FX  to work on my computer. I have read on these forums that it is not compatable with Vista. I wish I knew that because I purchased windows fx about 2 months before buying Vista>:(   Also when I have posted problems on the forums, frequently I am asked for a screenshot of my desktop. I am so clueless about how to do this. I have googled on how to do this and cannot get the hang of how to do this. Is there an easier way to do this.....or one that I can pring and folow? Thanks in advance. :*

Sorry to hear your trouble, sparkleplenty. That cursorfx doesn't work with Vista is something that has been mentioned in the forums several times, but I notice it says the opposite in the Stardock ad for the product: https://www.stardock.com/products/cursorfx/ 

That might convince them to give you a partial refund (afterall, you did buy it for XP, and nowhere do you state you still don't have that machine and aren't still using the software).

If you have Vista Home Prem. or better, there is a tool I love called Snipping Tool in the start menu that works well for me. Then I spruce it up a little with photoshop, or paint shop pro.

I think it's not about CursorFX but about WindowFX.

WindowsFX is not supported in Vista.
