I am.  It hurts to think that because we didn't do it right the first time, my kid has to be there now.  But I am proud of him.

And how do you think I feel about that?

And for the record, I am proud of all my babies, each in their own way is a great person.

I miss BDUs. I miss being able to roll my sleeves.

HW sent me your email and snailmail addresses last night so I will be in touch.  It is really good to see the HBW moniker back on the page, although many of the stalwarts of days past seem to have vanished.  I hope you find time to post an insight or two, you are really good at that.  (by the way, I don't miss BDUs, I roll my sleevies anytime I want!)

Well, Hey!  Good to see ya.  How is the retired life treating you?  I hope he'll be home soon, too, but he just went over about a month ago so the best we can hope for is that it will pass by quickly.  Better situation this time, though, and better comms with home.  Thanks for the comment.
