Wisefawn's Proof Of Janky Election

Wisefawn's Proof Of Janky Election

thank you

Thank you wisefawn. Sadly, I haven't had the time to put together the blog that suggests, if not proves, in my book, that elections hardly mean a thing anymore. A deal between the Bush Dynasty and the makers of so many of the electronic voting machines has been created. The same company that makes the voting machines will be installing a wave of ATM machines in Iraq. Big surprise. It figures. Like everything else the Bush Dynasty does, it's all about the power and money. Yuck.

If anyone is interested, here is the link to the article.

As for the "janky election", yeah it was. Thousands of votes weren't counted. Counts didn't add up. Diebold, the maker of the electronic voting machines, promised Bush a victory. I don't know whether the votes would have added up to a win for Kerry, though some people are absolutely positive that if counted fairly, he would have won. However, just because the counts were flakey is enough reason for anyone, even conservatives, to question whether democracy was upheld. Fact is, conservatives are just buying into the garbage cuz their fascist buddy boy "won". I am absolutely convinced that if his father, George HW was never president, Dubya never would have risen to the ranks he achieved. That, and janky elections, and he was a shoe-in.

Here we go again! Yet "another" conspiracy theory! When are you guys going to get it? There was NOTHING wrong with the elections. If there had been the mere hint of impropriety , your bud Kerry would have not conceded and he would have had the FEC ALL over it. Can't you see that only you and the extreme left are buying into this? And BTW you were blacklisted because of your abusive attitude. Nothing more, nothing less.

And you are absolutely delusional.  Every count, every law says hat GWB won in 2000, and it was not even close in 04.  If you could accept the truth, you might be able to move on, and actually work constructively for the election of a liberal in 08.  But as long as you continue to live in a dream world, people will think of you as a crackpot and charter member of the "Keepers Of Odd Knowledge" society.  And hence dismiss you out of hand.

"Diebold, the maker of the electronic voting machines, promised Bush a victory."

I did hear this. I find it fishy.

"There was NOTHING wrong with the elections."

I think there is something wrong with every election. It will never be perfect, and to think it is is only making this country less of a democracy. Come on...

Given that statement, I have to agree with you.  However, while not perfect, it is accurate enough so that the errors tend to cancel each other out, and the results are fair and accurate.

When you have 120m people voting, there are going to be some snags and errors.  NOne are intentional, and only conspiracy theorists would find something diabolical in them.

No, I meant what I said. And I'll go one step further, I've been on-line for years and I can tell you for a fact that if Wisefawn weren't female, she would not get the free pass on some of the nutty things she says.

BINGO! ++

Diebold is ONE manufacturer of electronic voting machines. However, their machines WERE NOT USED IN OHIO. I don't believe that ANY electronic voting machines were used in Ohio. See Reply #17 for a link to an article giving information about the cancellation of Ohio's proposed contract with Diebold.

And, you and hubby bubby blacklisted me because...

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and guess that it was because you're an obnoxious, abusive, patronizing jerk.

I'm not buying this. You're going way overboard here, I think. Really.

An interesting look at the breakdown by county in Florida and how some counties had "odd" results. I'm not concluding anything from this but some of the statistics is at least interesting when comparing the voting tech. It appears that some of the results may have been flopped.

Link

A less stat intensive look can be seen here (looks at the numbers by county and then shows total votes, gives voting machine company)....
Link

Please remember...these are just the aggregate numbers and I am making no claims about fraud etc. I'm just presenting the numbers and an analysis.

A mention of possible implications to this can be read at Olbermann's site at MSNBC...

Good God you guys sure are doing a lot of whining....and I DO mean on both sides of this. I think the most depressing thing about this election for me is that I don't think there was any conspiracy, at least not any more than there always is. We don't elect individuals we elect images of individuals, the American people chose the candidate that was able to paint a better image of himself. Blah blah blacklisted me, boo hoo for me..........for a bunch of people who spout the "It's my blog I'll do whatever I want with it," you sure do criticize a lot of others who choose to use the same freedom.

Oh my dearest little whip, you are ever so sensitive. I was really just trying to steer the thread away from a tangent of finger pointing but instead you focused specifically on my childish taunting...which I will continue to do.

Boo Hoo For You,

and if you didn't give a damn you probably wouldn't write such a long post attempting to defend yourself now would ya hun?

Boo Hoo For America,
There, now everyone has got one,

ironing?  I hate that stuff!  My wife makes me do it about once a month, when I have been a bad boy (usually after a Raiders win, so this year it is not even that often).

Realistically, the people that question political motives, elections, decisions, wars, whatever on JU aren't that left.

Former US weapons inspector Scott Ritter called the Bush victories a coup d'etat of the US government in Washington not too long ago. That's something to put in a pipe and smoke it, not that I'm telling anyone here to do that, but maybe...just maybe...I hope that widens the perpective on things a bit.

Scott Ritter has shown himself to be an utter wacko since he left Iraq. It's sad that people can't see through his bias and still pretend he has some authoritative opinion because of a job HE BOTCHED. His tireless failures as an inspector just fed the rift between the US and Iraq.

I know that he is an extreme left winger. That's what I meant. That's what I was pointing out.

I hate those sweeping statements that include EVERYONE in certain group of people. I AM "lefty" I CAN AND DID grasp the basic fundamentals. Proof: Lack of articles from me trying to prove that 2004 ( and even 2000! ) voting was a fraud.

you pathetic conservatives

Another sweeping statement.

Hmm...sounds like we've got a lot of housework to do. Sweeping, ironing...will someone please take out the trash, because it's overflowing all over JU. Do the math: you righties + you lefties = you whiners.

I think the American Idol vote was rigged, didn't Jeb Bush say something about delivering Ruben Stoddart?

1) Honestly, I do not think there is any question that George Bush honestly won the election. I would be stunned if any contrary evidence showed up.

2) It is time to end the tradition of challenging election results. If something like this happens once, it is a fluke. Twice, and it is a tradition -- one that would amount to a fatal cancer on our type of government. Dependable succession is one of the necessities of government, and the fact that America has long assumed that we have it does not mean that we can affort to take it for granted.

3) All this aside, serious work is needed on our method of counting votes. As it stands, electronic voting machines are a calamity waiting to happen, and people on both sides of the aisle knew this before the election. Rather than challenging the 2004 election, our country needs to take the 2000 election as spur enough to give some serious thought to vote counting -- how to make manipulation by hackers, manufacturers, vote counters, etc as impractical as possible.
