IMAGINE AMERICA WITH ONLY REPUBLICANS
At first, I wanted to veer away from blogging politics and stick to my other scheduled blogs on dying alone(more apropos ?) , design concepts on military weapons or my planned discourse on wind surfing, snorkeling and scuba diving, but the political animal inside got the better of me, so here I go again, despite very much expected sneers from the neocons who would have something to crow about. ( I’m donning this wide newspaper-converted Robin Hood cap as I’m typing – the better to keep myself from being distracted by the jeers.)
So, the American Revolution of Nov. 2, 2004 (see previous blog) did get underway and it turned out to be a Republican one by a significant margin. So, it was a half-American victory, leaving a significant other half at odds on how they would be treated by the victors. By half-American is meant to denote that the emerging worldview or mindset or sentiment , if you will, of Americans at a particular period of history. And this is-
I just wanted to elaborate on the main differences between the right and left wing of the political spectrum, and I was going to put them in two columns, but these HTML <> are driving me nuts. Since I can't get it right , I'll just have ..what? plain text mode.? Dy'think that'll do the trick?
