Negativism is killing us.
I travel extensively by car and listen to talk shows. After a year of listening to the right wing stations bash Obama (There are no Left wing Stations) I still have to listen to their voice of doom rants about the government.
The talk show guru Rush Limbaugh says: "I hope Obama Fails". Now isn't that a great attitude? Why can't everyone give the President a chance and at least stop the negativism about everything he does.
I have had to stop listening to talk shows because it is depressing. For once I would like to hear the Rush Limbaugh's of the world come up with suggestions on how to help the country instead of just tearing it down.
The Shaun Hannity's of the industry are mired in pessimism, hostility and non objective oration for the sake of stimulating listeners. They have lost this listener and hopefully many others.
It is time for America to rally together. The Republican stand against the stimulus bill wherin not one voted for it in the house, is shameful. I have a friend who lost his job and is about to lose his house and his only hope is the stimulus bill, particularly as it pertains to Health Care and workers unemployment payments.
The Republicans lost the majority because they didn't listen to what the public is shouting out for. They haven't learned and are continuing to do so and causing the country great harm.
Let's get positive!!!
