Problems logging in to metaverse

For starters, Ive never tried logging into Metaverse before. I've got the Gold Edition game, my serial is registered, as evidenced by that I can update my game (shows as running 2.01 now, not sure how as I dont have TA!) which I updated through Impulse. I logged into Metaverse on the website and registerd my serial there, created a "character".

Yet when I try to log into Metaverse in the game, it says my serial isn't registered.

Am I missing something?

DA got a (smaller) 2.0 patch as well.
