New Master skin I am working on.. Really going after a classicly styled, ultra useable, ergonomic look and feel with this one.
Inspired by my VXP skin, then took on its own more modernized direction...

Don't be sorry just because someone gives you a blunt answer. It's hard to attach emotions to text, so sometimes a quick reply like that may seem more aggressive than it's meant.
It's ok mickeko,but you know,I have been a member of this community since 2003,and have bought everything that has been for sale(except for some My Colors themes).Everytime I ask a question about a theme that I really want,I get ridiculed or knocked down.You would think I had learned my lesson by now,but no I do it again.But it's ok ,I am used to it.

I try to see it from the bright side... It can always be worse... And most likely it will be... So why not just shrug and enjoy the "light treatment" at the moment. 
Linda... I appreciate your support and yes your one of this community's most supportive members, This theme will be along at some point, sooner or later, thats about as much as I can say.

you know Igspence, I have a neighbour....who I thought for a coupla years...didn't care for me....he was very short...and abrupt...not rude....but no small talk...or little niceties in our brief conversations. One day..I spotted a letter addressed to him....his title was Brigadier (retired)....it fell into place...he did not dislike me....it was his manner...his military training...short, sharp...to the point...no waffling.... I then stopped to observe..he was like this with everybody.
messiah is ex military....and I have noticed his manner to also often be...short..concise...to the point....and shouldn't be taken as rudeness...or even being an ass......they are just trained...when they communicate....not to mess around......(no pun intended) 
Just look at him... No need to be close to see that He DOES look more like a monkey than a donkey.

I understand that and making enemies is not my goal but why ignore the mob mentality that happens around here on occasion?
A respected member was harrassed this morning. It's time someone said something. I don't want to be hated by anyone but I also have no trouble speaking my mind.
I have discussed this in private before with the party most effected by the behavior.
I simply do not see how this five word sentence could be construed as harrassing. The person who asked it apologized anyway so it should be time to move on.

No biggie. I was just drawing attention to the elitist fanboy crap that causes WC'ers a bad rep. Back to my cave for another 4 months is fine with me. I was content there.

Anyways, I've seen the "mob"-thing on several forums. I think it has to do with cultural hegemony (look it up, it's a tricky word :P). I would think it's unavoidable on any busy forum of medium size or more. It needs to be handled delicately, or it'll kill the community...
It's unlikely to be 'cultural hegemony'....but more simply individual ego, but yes, it's 'handle with care'.
Unfortunately when 'someone says something' it's an open opportunity for someone else to also say something.....and if it's not a 'contradiction'....it's an argument.
Sometimes silence is its own reward....;)
