willing to fund fixes

patch it

I just wanted to tell stardock that I live for this game.  But, having said that there are still tons of bugs and the AI needs alot of work.  I would pay triple the cost of the three games for these fixes.  Please, my life sucks and i just want my immense galaxies to be bigger and have the AI work better.   Let me know if you accept paypal :).

I don't know about your price point, but 2.0 was free so paying a modest price for a final patch-pack seems reasonable to me. I don't live for the game, but I still spend too much time playing it and/or typing about it.

You might want to change the topic title-"willing to pay for fixes" and "willing to fund fixes" are two completely different things.

I'd need to see your project style sheet before I'd want to make that call. Plain language is roughly equivalent, and both verbs can beg modifiers like "partially" or "completely." ;)

I stand by my "willing to fund fixes" statement.

I'd be willing to pay for them to get more help,  shit you can barely even get them to pick up the phone I think theres only one tech in the whole corporation!

hm... I would pay for a another Expansion! A final addition to the program. The last bit of polish, belancing, bug fixing and more ways to mod the heck out it :-)

So thumps up!

BUMP, will pay for the best game ever made to work properly.

It's not a matter of money--the devs are all working on other stuff right now, especially since we're doing the CVP stuff for Demigod in-house and it's in crunch time right now.

By April 15th, once Demigod is out and running rampage in those interested in that sort of gameplay thingy... i can only see two wide open possibilities;

1- Elemental takes over all of the devs precious workflow perspectives.

2- Somebody at SD takes a tough decision to assign at least one Dev to mopping up GC2_DL/DA/TA current issues.

Not to say there isn't potentially better third probabilities, btw.

Maybe he wants the whip...

That's a suspiciously cheeky thing to say...

I'll (and have been) always be courteous and gentle in *ALL* my postings here... my personality may come across stiffy at times for some - but i believe i earned some respect from the amount of modded Megabytes i've worked on through my own freewill for months.

How would they know my opinions or "crusading hopes" if i do NOT write about anything which i care for?

I've never been the gloomy or smoothy talky type though, i hand over my thoughts in a civil manner -- driven by a personal quest for gameplay modding assets -- reasonably good for anyone.

Now, if THEY (at Stardock) think i might have to change the attitude and kneel down to the kings like the sticky mind slaves of the Dark Ages to obtain some results - they don't understand my agenda and how everything may matter to them as much as it could to others or, just me.

Please is a strange word when taken outa context, even in these forums.

Hi!

willing to fund fixes

Ummm, well... If you say so. Let me see if you can match this:

- HW and SW equipment the developer will use: $3000

- monthly salary for a developer: $4000

- monthly rent for a cubicle where (s)he'll work: $300

- expect him to work 2 months at least, but likely more.

You still willing to fund fixes? ;)

All of those numbers seem a bit low to me, Iztok, but that's the point I was trying to make.

:)

well, the devs already have the equipment, so that's off the table, and I think that  the rent is not a problem b/c they would be coming in to work anyway, but STILL. I very much doubt that Trooper can afford to throw that sort of money at a project like this. To even physically HAVE that much money, he would have to be in the top-earning 10% or so of Americans, much less be able to spend it all on a GAME!

Hi!

All of those numbers seem a bit low to me, Iztok,

   ... :D  ...  ... ... :erk:

Different countries, different salaries. In my country $4000 would be in top 15% of all slaries. I'm not even close.  X(
