Wild Card Tier:  I don’t know what goes on in these people’s heads, but they play on Sins enough to be on here.  These guys have been playing for so long, you wonder why they don’t quite get it.  Sometimes they’re good, sometimes they aren’t.  Usually they’re always one trick ponies.

 _|~Sire/KoK/King of Kodiaks/LiLZe/Kodiak_King - Tier #3 if he doesn't goof off.

kbroke - Tier #2 if he isn't on drugs or drunk, which is 99.9% of the time.

HuyMac - Tier #2 if he doesn't "Experiment".

Predator (WFU) - Tier #2, but lately he is just plain awful and I would rather pick a noob that know how to listen that to pick this guy.

And Candido's Team Player Edition

When these people are on my team, I feel a victory will soon be added to my statistics, regardless of who is on the other team: Auqia*, HowThe*, Ooloo* (quar)

We really should have a victory but sometimes things can go wrong, especially if one of the aforementioned players is on the opposing team: Krath, Tyr, Doci, DieHard* (greg), Efejao*, Hiroge, Mecha-Lenin, Multiz*

Superior contributors to the team: jbaum*, RedRuby(BlueSaphire)(GreenEmerald)*, Ekko-Tek*, Dumdeedum*, Fallen_One*, DeceptivePanda (StarKiller), Nayru*, Eros(Specter)*, Higgy, jamex, Traxsin, Slavinari, Faernel*, CarpetBomb*, BagsX*, BrainDead

Good solid contributors to the team: Aeonx*, BooPoo*, SerakWarriors, Camaro*, Archa-A*, JakeMac, kbroke*, Ginisfurd, maxy, USNC, gondie, unname, Seleuceia, Dwish, ColdFront(Universe)*, Mavarik, Knewgui, Teun-a-Roonius, KFear, BoomUrDead

Well, it's a teammate: rabidturnip*

I know what you mean. I was a little worried about that game the other night. If I had known that one of the other guys on your team was Siddy smurfing (again the name should have clued me in....), I would have been "This is soooo unfair - no way we can win". But we did. So it IS possible to get random teams that can take out a team with a DT or sometimes 2 DT members on it.

You guys need to try and organise some more skilled matches - either DT vs [_] or a PUG game with those guys in them...

First of all, I had no clue that was Siddy at the time.  Second, he tried didn't get an economy up, and his opponent got saved by the guy who killed off our first teammate.  Third, you guys had three good players in that game if memory serves while we had two beginners who collapsed almost immediately.  As you pointed out, even Siddy and I are not going to make up the difference when two members of our team fold almost immediately.  It is very hard for a great player to make up the difference between a good/decent player and someone who is a beginner.

So since you commented on the subject of not seeing many DT tages anymore, maybe you would care to explain why you experience concern whenever you see the DT member on the other team?  Just about every game I play against you, you don't seem happy with the teams even when I have deliberately tried to take beginners on my team.  Truth is, unless you have played someone, you have no clue whether an opponent is a beginner or a skilled smurf.

I am usually pretty good about being willing to take a new player on my team to "balance" out my "advantage", but I have gotten smurfed many times as well.  =)

Re: Clan matches, it just doesn't seem like people are interested in them, at least not vs DT.  There are mixed clan PUGs during prime time hours, at least there were when I was playing more.  These are the only PUGs I like...don't even get me started on how stupid it is to do a PUG when you don't know over half the people you are playing.  Smurfing in Sins destroys the ability to do random PUGs.

Totally agree. The number of time people try and go "but you are so good, you can take 2 people" is not funny. Being good <> 2x the economy, hence it is hard to go 2v1.

They do nasty things to me..... It hurts!!!! :D

We've been in a few games recently where the stats haven't matched the actual skill.

Truth is, unless you have played someone, you have no clue whether an opponent is a beginner or a skilled smurf.

Hence this point...

Smurfing in Sins destroys the ability to do random PUGs

It definately makes it hard to know who/what you are up against.

I don't fear anyone because of their tag or name. My partners tend to think differently and like to quit prematurely because of it......

look there is no reason to fear DT of [_] even great players can fall like Tyr did one game and it always ends up with DT having total noob teams making it impossible for them to win

and yes smurfing does destroy random pugs but when you are skilled you sometimes need to smurf because I know that i was kicked in the past for my record and it pissed me off.

*unfurls a roll of toilet paper*

TIme to add to the rolls few new players.  They are not elite, but they are competent and have had successes.  So I shall start posting some reviews.

choastheory - competent Vasari player.  Has his own strategy that when allowed to come to fruition can be dangerous.

rubeelsDaBomb - very good Vasari player.  Highly adaptable in strategy deployment.  Can econ as well as anyone.  Good team player.  Probably Tier 2 material soon!

JonnyC231 - TEC player who loves to rush.  If you let him rush you, then well it's your fault you lost isn't it?

ForeverNoob - New player I guess, but picks things up very fast.  Seen him use Vasari and Advent.  But probably better with Vasari.

You should also advance [_]-Flipkick to Tier 2.  He has definately the capacity for it, I see him 1v2 all the time in team games.

[_]-harla and [_]-GreyFox have stepped upt heir game quite a bit lately.  Soon tier 2 :O keep it up.

Ok, added them to the list.  I took some liberties with Jonny's review.

I also moved you to tier #1, Flip to tier #2, and revised a few peoples review slightly.

Id like to recommend Greyfox for tier 1.

Good at controlling large fleets . Uses Advent to their strengths and researches carefully and thoroughly . Good team coordinator too.

WOW! astax and grey tier 1!? ive missed something havent i? i demand to play with them immidiately!

havent seen you guys play in quite a while so i expect you deserve the promotion =D congrats, i still wanna see you 2 in action at once

I've seen Astax play.  He's good when he's not dorking around (Spiralblitz had the same problem of playing bad sometimes because he was trying new strategies).  I would probably agree with upgrading Greyfox to tier #2, but I haven't seen him play in a very long time.  Does someone have a replay with him in it?

I have replays in my replay thread.  Most are there for their comedy values.

It's a good post but very hard to keep track of on the forums. A good feature in the game would be a spot you could click on a persons name and see a list of reviews from players. "What his allys think section" "What his enemys think section" it would be pretty nice.

And don't forget the "What Siddy thinks section."

That section deserves its own sticky!!!! And with Siddy being involved, you KNOW it would be.... ;)

Astax - An excellent player and can handle a 2v1 no problem.  With a little more play time with him, I have no doubt I will updgrade him to tier #1.  Especially good with - He doesn't pick a race and goes random.

plz correct, if hes on tier 1 he deserves a rewritten discription

tks.

Here's to cut & paste.  Consider it done.

If we have a gold list of players, could we also make a... I dunno, what's a really sucky metal?  Tin perhaps?  I would like to petition myself as the first player to grace the Tin List of Players.  Since no one else is around I will try to write a small review of myself.

Agent of Kharma - Sort of like one of those football teams that can (sometimes, anyway) beat anyone, yet totally lose to someone sucky.  Snatches defeat from the jaws of victory on a regular basis.  Can lose to ANYONE at ANY TIME.  Makes a conscious point of NOT building what is considered the "premier" unit at the time (for instance, didn't build carriers when carriers were OP).  Has claimed that all of the following units have sucked at one point or another, for one reason or another: all capships, flak, overseers, subverters, skirmishers, etc.  Claimed at one point that scouting was useless.  Hated capships so much that he wouldn't replace it when the first one was lost (now he will rebuild it half the time).  Will try "crazy" or "exotic" strategies even though they might cause him to lose.  Sucks at micro, and just about everything else.  Not a good eco player.  At least he's friendly and polite, if nothing else.  Has most experience with vasari, least experience with tec.

Howdidudothat, I request that you place this "tin list" as your bottom-most tier.  Basically, this is a tier for people who suck.

Let's see some more reviews of tin-rated players!

Lol, but that list could go on forever...besides, I was told to not single anyone out (remember the blacklist?)

By the way, I think it would be hilarious to have Tin, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond.  Perhaps the worst of the worst could be plaid.

Hey add me to the list!

All the people I played with should agree I was kind all the way through and when all was lost, would politely congratulate them and warn them that I was quitting!

Then once they had all replied....I would leave!

Thats how mp should be played! From gentleman to gentleman! ;)

So would Bronze be Gold, Platinum or Diamond??? Surely he isn't Silver or Bronze??? :D

You sure are a gentle man.

In other news, I need someone to write a review of you.  Also, I've never seen you on ICO.  What's your screen name?
