A minor annoyance.

When I install fences with "align to grid" activated on the desktop, all the icons on the right edge of the sceen jump in a bit and can't be placed on the outer edge anymore. It's rather annoying, since I like to have my recycle bin placed in the lower right edge of the screen.

I've worked around the problem by putting the recycle bin in a fence of its own, which actually look better than having it right on the desktop. I shouldn't have to do that to keep single icons on the edge though. :)

Here's an illustration... The VLC icon is as much to the right as I can get it outside a fence (1680x1050 resolution), before fences was installed it was on the outermost edge. The same thing happens in vista too.

multiple monitors?

I think you can adjust that using the Windows Icon spacing.

Right click Desktop > Personalize > Windows Color and Appearance link > Open classic appearance properties for more color options link > Advanced button > Item drop down list

Nope. Single monitor. (x64 W7 and Vista)

I don't see why that should be necessary, I'm not changing my screen resolution. I'll give it a shot though and see if it works, but it seems to me that fences reserve the right edge of the screen for some reason.

Update: Setting icon size/spacing doesn't make any difference at all.
