Why is it so hard for some to believe...

that Bush won every state he did in 2000 (although you could argue all day about Florida and no one would care) and pick up 2 close states (that were closer then Florida in 2000 I believe) with one having a democrat in charge and paper ballots. I mean I really dont really think its that unbelievable.

I think what is hard for some to believe is that the majority of voters felt that voting for George Bush and his policies was a good idea. I have a feeling many didn't use that requisite, however, and simply voted for who they thought best represented their cultural identity.

Because these people find it hard to beleive that the youth that promised to vote to get out Bush didn't. It's because that youth thought "No Draft" and decided not to vote. They would have been the perfect counterbalance to the evangelists. I am personally sickened at theose kids because if I could vote I definetly would no matter if Ringle's Bill was defeated or Passed. I guess we all just underestimated Bush's power of persuasion and religous influence.

I just hope Bush doesn't continue being the same president he has been. Hope being the operative word.
