Rickclick and vista x64

Is support fourth coming?

https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/features.asp

I noticed that Rightclick is 1 of only 2 products (the other being windowsFX) that come with Object Desktop that is not supported under 64bit Operating systems, I'm wonder when or if this is going to change?

Thanks,

ERIC

Hi,

I would like to know too.  I have been waiting for about 2 years for the 64bit version to come out.  Originally when this program and other programs and software packages didn't work well on the 64bit version, I decided to switch back to the 32bit version.  I recently decided to change back to the 64bit version since most companies have now had time to catch up with their software.  Please see if you guys can get this working correctly on a 64bit version of Vista.

It does work under my Vista Ultimate 64bit version, but I have to right click to bring up the vista context menu and then right click again to bring up the RightClick menu.  This is what it was doing 2 years ago when I informed Stardock then.  It is still doing it.  If you want to see a picture of what I am talking about, let me know and I'll upload one when I get home.

Thanks,

Rob

We have replicated that internally at Stardock and look forward to resolving it.

Hello,

I just renewed for another year and had some time to get back to the forums.

I'm glad to hear it.  I reported it about a year or so ago and you couldn't replicate it then, but at least you now see what I am refering to.  I look forward to the fix.

      Thank you very much.

For the most part, the reason these apps aren't 64 bit ready is that they haven't been updated since a time when 64 bit was more of a pipe dream than a reality.  RightClick will most likely be updated in the future.  WindowFX's fate is still to be determined...
