Right Click Question
MouseOver Bar Size?
Just started trying to skin RightClicks. Can any one tell me how to 'size' the mouseover bar size? Have checked Wiki and StarDock, but the info is kind of sketchy...
Thanks in advance for your help.

I see from the mod queue that you figured it out. I was gonna suggest taking someone else's skin apart....
I've used 16 pixels to 23 pixels high.....I usually leave the top & Bottom pixel rows magic pink and add magic pink space at both ends.
Length is only what you need to get everything to show based on your margins
edit: you can't use anti-aliasing on your corners...you end up with pink that's not quite "magic"
Nope, still haven't figured it out yet. Trying to adjust the width to fit within a margin other than the width of the background itself. Have tried to set the A/B (left/right) width but that doesn't seem to do anything other than whiteout the center if too large a value is inserted. Take a look at the one in the mod queue (I would have posted a link, but didn't have one yet) what I am trying to do is get the mouseover bar to fit within the white border inside the background.
Have tried deconstructing others, but (again) adjusting the left/right width doesn't seem to make a difference. Will keep punching away at it....
Thanks for the reply...

count the pixels from the outside edge to where you want the image to show and add that much magic pink to that end, then set the margins for a at least that many +1 and more if you have a part of the image to preserve.

Thanks so much for the response. I was headed along those lines after reviewing several different ones. Your post, of course, makes it so obvious it's hard to imagine how I missed it to begin with. That's why you are definately da Dude!!! ![]()
