Dirty NrG (WIP)

DX theme I'm working on....somewhere around 90%, I think. Still scripting, tweaking, procuring headaches, etc., etc. Thoughts?

Very cool.  Is the thing in the middle going to open either on start or end?

Very unique. Love the colours against the charcoal wall.

Well sViz, from nowhere it looks dirty....

Its glassy & beautiful and thats the truth...... and those black & green spots make it even more charming....

And we have to see the rest 10%..... Great art..... 5*

Thanks everyone.

Zu, that's part of the wall. I'm still postulating whether I should have the menu bar on top leak/drip toxic chemical.

Why not that toxic drip as a substyle?

Wow! This looks awesome. ;)

Substyle? Me no comprehend WindowBlinds-speak. :P   It'll probably have an option to turn it on or off, though.

Looks very good sViz, original.

can't wait for the substyles too :w00t:

Thanks you guys. :)    Still modifying the weather scripts and working on a larger rez for the wall. Anyone willing to beta test when it's ready?

Thanks for volunteering. I'm almost done. Heres the 1920 x 1080 version of the wall. Added a few more things (too much? needs more?) I'm only going with 5:4, 4:3, and 16:9 ratio walls.

Not for 1280 x 800 widescreen? (16:10) ... Will the DX be Resolution Independent?

Yeah, the theme is independent, but the wall isn't.  I could replace the 16:9 with 1280 x 800, if that's more popular.

Yes, YEs, YES!!

I will be glad to test it. It looks awesome! It's not wallpaper dependant, is it?

It's beta testing day!  I switched the large wall for 1440 x 900, added the dripping animation, made some last minute tweaks, etc.

Heres the download link (follow the site instructions) -- LINK

There are quite a few features in the theme but the areas I'm most concerned about are: the drip, the start menu navigator, calendar, drag and drop menus, and weather. Let me know if anything's broke or needs improvement. Thanks again!

Jim, it works best with the theme's wall but there is an option to use your own. I'd suggest using a dark wall as some of the pop up screens aren't readable on a light background. I would have left the theme without a wall except I set DX to clear icons...which also clears the Windows wallpaper.  You think I should not clear icons and upload the walls separately?

Really was hoping for 1280x800 wide screen. I guess I'll have to wait till it comes out...would've loved to have helped, sViz.

The theme itself is resolution independent, Dr.  All the objects are designed to resize and reposition to fit any screen rez. 1440x900 is the same ratio as 1280x800, wouldn't that work?
