ObjectDock Recycle Bin Icon Probblem

OK, so I wanted to change the default Recycle Bin icons in ObjectDock, so I downloaded an icon I liked. It was PNG so I went to Dock Entry Properties and replaced the default icon with the one I downloaded. It worked and looked fine. Then I deleted the PNG files I had in my computer and the icon turned into question mark. I realized that I would have to keep the icon PNG file in my PC or it to stay like that. Why is that? I got icons for Firefox and uTorrent as well and I cold just delete them and they still showed in ObjectDock. Help please. Do you guys have to keep your PNG files as well or is it something wrong with me?

If I understand your question correctly you do have to keep a/the png file for the recycle bin as long as you want/have a space for it on the background.  If you want to eliminate the icon from appearing on the background just 'move' (leftclick and drag) it out of the background and it will disappear.  Otherwise you will have to change the icon by 'right clicking' on the recycle bin space and selecting 'dock entry properties' from the popup menu and selecting a new icon set.  Hope this helps...

You can Move the PNG to this location to store it and Objectdock will use it from there but you will have to repiont to it

C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Bundled Images

But it is a good Idel to keep it on a storage drive or CD/DVD + RW disk (Note: RW disk so you can add to and remove at will) Just so you do not have to re-Download it agin. If you ever have to reinstall your OS.
