As much as I was looking forward to Beta 3 I think its even better that we progress a bit more slowly as I dont think Beta 2B onwards has enough testing.

Apparently Yarlen said no Beta 2D for today

there definitely won't be a beta 3 today but we are working on a beta 2D.

So I'm a little confused.  Does that mean 2D will be coming out today?

I hope it doesn't become a trend where kestrel tries to predict the future and people replying are posting from another time & situation unrelated to the altered title and post content about how eager or disappointed or horny they are for updates that been pushed back. if you have an update for one of your games (including demigod) you will see a flashing red tab that says "Update", maybe you should just wait for that. who cares, if its this week or next week.
