Any experience with HP Touchsmart?

I am looking for an all in one machine to put in the kitchen that has a TV tuner, enough power to handle media, kids homework, and maybe some games.  I seriously considered the imac but the fact that it does not have a tv tuner (I really don't like the idea of adding a USB ported 3rd party tuner device) I am now looking at the HP Touchsmart machine.  It seems to have everything I am looking for and has some pretty decent reviews.  However, I also know it is not the only all-in-one device out there so I thought I would ask for some feedback on the HP as well as any others out there folks may be using.

No feedback at all?

I don't own one, but I have played around with one many times at the store, and it seems very cool.  I think the idea of using as a "family" PC is perfect.  I would definitely use it for that.  :)

No hands on (pun intended) experience here, but I'd factor into it the children's age, and strawberry jam on little fingers...

The idea of a family computer is great, but I sorta miss dinners where people actually interact with eachother. Wouldn't a device tend to disencourage that?

That's just me...it could always be on 'sleep' mode during meals.  ;)

Good idea for a post, and a good question.

You  make a great point.  The TV feature is for my wife while cooking, etc. but the PC feature is so my kids are on the computer in a central, public place in our home.  I hate the idea of having the PC located in some out of the way and obscure location. I would definately want to power it down or put in sleep mode while we are eating, talking etc.
