im glad you like it. iam new to fences..last week, they sent me to try it out. before my desktop was messed up. and the ability to double click and hide icons is also a godsend. i give it k5

    I wouldn't know what to do if I didn't have folders and icons on my desktop!!! I would certainly think it belonged to someone else!!! \o/ :P

fences double click option is far better than the other app i was using called deskicons. not very precise. yay! for fences. :beer:

...I had an idea and I think it probably could not work, but I want to ask anyway.   Is there a way to make files or folders visible as to their content, like in my screenshot above,the fence labeled *Working On*?

fo sho. in a future version, if you're on Vista, i plan to have a feature where you can have a folder visible as a fence on your desktop. (no time super-soon though so don't get your hopes too up, but within the 6month/year almost for sure i imagine)

Hey that is sooooooooooo kool!!!  ....but my new pc is XP...oh well!!! ;P   ;)   That'll teach me!!!! \o/   I know there is a thread for ideas for OD, is there a particular thread for ideas for fences?
