Problem with Windows Blinds Enhanced

It's not working properly

Hey I just bought Windows Blinds Enhanced 6.3 and it isn't working right you can tell by the picture here. I know its nothing wrong with my Wndows Vista becuase with the trial version it works 100 percent I have uninstalled the trial and put this one on and it half way works things come up in windows that aren't working right. I even installed a clean restore backup before I put on the trial then put on the bought version with the serial number. so I know its not my system messing Windows Blinds up. I feel a little ripped off now if anyone could help or if not I'm gonna throw Windows Blinds in the trash and take it as a loss. thanks to anybody that would like to help.

Did you uninstall the trial?

Uninstall everything.

Reboot

Install impulse

Use impulse to install WB

Reboot

If it still fails post the system info from WB

I had a very similar problem, many of my windows were not getting titlebars, and usually the theme would not be applied at all.  I uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled through impulse, still the same problem.  What I did that finally fixed it was I told Impulse to install beta versions.  That did the trick.

I had the same problem with Bootskin on my XP Dell PC: Downloaded it, made a restore point, rebooted and installed Bootskin. When I rebooted again, XP crashed & kept crashing at about where a pre-selected test skin was supposed to appear during startup.

I couldn't get back into my PC until I uninstalled Bootskin in safe mode.

Seems enough ppl use Bootskin without problems so I'm not calling it a buggy app & I doubt it's a Dell issue.

Oh, well..just one of those things.

az0th, bootskin is pretty much a hit and miss program, depending on your computer bios it will either work or not work. there are 3 versions of bootskin you can try, but as the program is no longer supported if none of them work your out of luck :)
