DigitalCHET sticks his head in...

Have the pillow fights started yet?  Isn't that what girls do at sleepovers?

Not at the sleepovers I've been to.  We sit around, drink tequila, watch Thelma and Louise, and talk smack on men.

lol I had a mate that got bailed up on his surfboard by a white pointer, it bit the thing in half, and luckily, left him alone, but he froze out there in the ocean, as in PETRIFIED, naturally [pussy hehe j/j] until a chopper came in and air-lifted him out of the oceanX|

WTH?  In Oz do you have to go out into deep water to get bit by a shark?  Here on the Atlantic side of Florida, you just have to wade in about mid-calf level.  (My beach, New Smyrna, is the shark bite capital of the world).  I haven't gone in the water.  I just sit out on the sand and watch the other people.

Nah Karen, they can hang around in about a foot or so of water I think:hugme: , but we mainly have grey nurse sharks inland, they aren't really dangerous....well, unless you piss them off and they decide to eat youX| but they are usually calm, and will ignore you if you ignore them.. but we get all kinds of sharks, that's why I don't go in the ocean:grin:

It's actually dog's that are more at risk, sharks can smell them something fierce, so don't let your rover or spot go for a dip:dog:

What the hell is with this swimming between the flags BS? sharks aren't gonna read that! they're gonna eat you no matter where you are:thumbsup:

I've never seen one Al, but yeah, we get them, and these thing's called 'Blue Bottles', they look like a small jellyfish,  I picked one up when I was a kid:grin: , and man, the tentacles left these long red welts up my arms, and stung like hell for hoursX|

You'd be quite stupid to bring a calf when wading out in shark water... But I suppose it's less of a target if the alternative is bringing a bull... ;)

Iracongi tiny Box Jelly fish are deadly in October and after all full moon.  Excruciating pain and if stung bad enough death.  They are the size of your thumbnail and clear in the water.  Sort Pacific IED.

Hey Kitteh & TG! If you two are free this weekend you can come over to my place. You'll have to have a chocolate coating though... ;P
