I have a statement make. Video games for children is not harmful in most cases. I am 14, turning 15 soon, and I grew up playing Super Nintendo, Xbox etc. and I have an IQ of 126. Now maybe I'm just a wild card, and exception to the rule, but when I'm sitting in class and the teacher asks certain questions, the MAJORITY things I learn, I learned from some video game out there. I find Video Games to being very educational, as they focus on many things including, technology, reading, history, and basic logic. Now there are cases when games can be harmful to children, and I find those to be cases when there is not strong parent figure. Studies show that a missing parent figure can cause problems for the child as they grow and mature. These are the only cases that I find gaming to be harmful to a child.
