Shawn, I am truly sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I know she had diabetes, so do I and a few family members. We really appreciate your commitment to diabetes awareness. My Mom passed a year ago this Jan. 17th. She was my best friend. I have been called a mama's boy, I take it as a compliment. I know you and your Mom were close, I feel for you. I know , as you stated, she knew the Lord. So she's not dead, she just moved to a better nieghborhood. People tell me they are sorry for my loss, I say, "I didn't lose her, I know where she is."
