Can't see the Fences ?

Fences are there - but are invisible

I am a brand new tester and just loaded Fences on to my laptop yesterday.... but I can not see any of the fences or labels or anything.  None of my icons are in teh fences but are all locate outside the fences.  The only way I can see them is to open up the Customize section where I choose a layout - then I can see all the fences.  When I try to drag and drop an icon into the fence, it just automatically throws it out and puts it right back where it was dragged from.  I'm running WinXP.  Do I have some option on that needs to be turned off?  I scanned through the posts but didn't find my answer - please help.  THANKS.

Resolved my own problem.... it is all working just fine now.  I was just getting impatient.  I think I'm going to like this.
