Just caught some TV footage of Kerry & his wife having their "traditional" post-vote lunch at an oyster bar in Boston. Kerry was smiling, a bit animated & seemed at least somewhat upbeat.

Thereza was absolutely stone-faced, wooden, seemingly distracted and just plain droopy, looking like she would have given anything to be anywhere but there.

I suppose she could just be under the weather, but I've had a feeling for awhile that she's decided politics is below her, too dirty an endeavour for someone of her status, and this footage sure drove that impression home.

geeeeez you people are so down on Teresa. to me, she always looks like she has personality, while Laura Bush always looks a bit like the typical Stepford wife might.

It does appear that the Bush supporters are kind of upbeat, and the Kerry supporters are getting kind of cranky.  Or just plain nasty!  Right Michael?

Oh, if they took my picture I would have both hands up saluting everybody equally.

I should remember to flip off people when I run for President in 2016 or 2020 because I LOVE to flip the one finger salute to arseholes, and I think it makes a politician more human and just plain normal if he gives the bird. Heck, I wonder if we kind find a Kerry one to go with the Bush one...hmm don't know if Badnarik has one though.

You should have seen this, Myrrander - the message on her face was "You so better lose, John Kerry. This is my last lunch." I wasn't really looking for this, it just looked really odd as it unfolded. And I really don't mean to pound on her, she looked how she looked.
