WinCustomize Uploading Issues - December 30th

from WinCustomize Forums

As you might have heard, the hardware failure last week affected many services, but the majority are now fixed.  One exception to that is the uploading on WinCustomize is down.  This is a problem that will most likely not be fixed until next week.

Once the uploads are fixed and everyone rushes to get their works uploaded, we will do our best to get things through moderation in a timely manner.

Check this thread for updates, and thanks for your patience.  :)

Any idea when the Flash 10 issues will be sorted out? Though I have a machine that does not have Flash 10, my main skinning machine does, and it can be pretty invonvenient to get things uploaded... :-"

Why is it that whenever the servers for a website absolutely have to be up, they inexplicably fail? this happened with wincustomize when they were trying to release OD 2009, microsoft had server problems when they tried to release Windows 7...

I could go on and on. what's up with that?

I don't know if this is an issue, but I uploaded something, and it's still in processing, almost an hour later, I'm not sure if that's normal:grin: , as my other stuff is there right away:'(

MB...I'm still unable to upload anything larger than 28 mb. I created a support ticket on Thursday so it will next week before they get back with me. I'll let you know the outcome.

I can't upload either. I keep getting an error message that my screenshot is not valid. It's a .jpg file and seems to be fine. But it won't let me upload my WB without it.

im having trouble uploading an avatar. i set the Jpeg to the right resolution but the website still says it is the wrong resolution. anyone know what's going on?

Well, I decided to do the work of moving my GUIC entries over to WC, but the upload doesn't work again.  It starts to upload, and I can see from my network meter that it's uploading, but never changes from 0% and after a few minutes it stops sending bytes.

Please verify that you are using Flash 9.

I'm using Firefox with Flash 9.0 r151. 

Hmm, I just looked in IE and it was showing 10.  I downgrade it to 9 and it's working in IE.  I will try Firefox again after the one I'm uploading finishes.
