Drengins getting dozens of free ships

Im my most recent game playing as the drengin i've noticed that i keep getting alot of "super dominator corvettes" - small ships with 10hp around my capital planet.
I haven't the faintest idea why i get these ships - their not even in the shipyard.
Can someone please shed some light on this mystery for me?
It's your super ability. The Drengin get ships (crappy ships, but ships nonetheless) when they declare war on someone-and I think when someone declares war on them, but I'm not positive of the latter. You may also be playing the scenario (I forget the name) designed around extremely large fleets-for some reason the last time I played that super dominator corvettes kept spawning for no reason whatsoever.
Considering I tried to rush them with just transports and 2 1-attack Tiny-Ships when they did not even have space weapons the corvettes they got weren't crappy at all. Infact it stopped my rush that I counted on working and invested a lot in.
It's a little odd they just get these ships out of nowhere.
I think the game description says that many of said corvettes are either hired thugs or conscripted unfortunates.
Perfectly in-character fir an evil race.
It's what they get for being Drengin. You can't rush the Drengin without chewing up some corvettes (or avoiding them). The corvettes are "minions" coming to drengin aid. Basically just bad guys that owe the Drengin a favour, hope to profit from Drengin rule or simply enjoy a good fight...
