Is it even possible to play on the bigger maps with hundreds of planets? How can you even manage that?

I am between games right now but like to have a custom race medal so I try a game in DL

So guard, pretty much, could be considered the same as 'fortifying a unit' in Civ III, it just sits there and does nothing. So if I have a mining starbase, I could set a fleet to guard it, but I always use sentry instead, because I prefer to know if there are approaching ships.

I have already played (made the zero year club) two tiny map on normal games in DL using my custom race and still no medal. How many games and what kind of games. Any thoughts on this???

I just played total of 5 games in DL and now I'm going back to TA. I will wait and see what happens next with my custom race medal.
