Problem with trying to re-install Sins

from Stardock Forums

Now, I know this is my fault, but I really need some help...I uninstalled Sins and Entrenchment from Control Panel and when I tried to download & install the games again there's an error saying "Object reference not set to an instance of an object", then the downloading progress stops. So I was wondering if somebody could help me fix this issue.

The Stardock root database server had a hardware crash on Christmas eve. The DB admins are working on restoring it but some services will be affected including customer database updating, software updating and downloading and other services.  We do not currently have an ETA to solve due to limited personnel being available on Christmas eve / Christmas day but it should be rectified within the next 48 hours.

I redid my computer and am trying to download it since yesterday! I wonder if I can get a CD so this doesn't happen next time?

impulse let's you save it so you can install offline afaik

Impulse should be up andrunning . . give it a try.
