I cant log on to the MV to start a game, nor do any of the functions on the MV page seem to be working.  I get this:

Server Error in '/' Application.

An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server.  When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.)

The server hardware died today.  We are moving it to a new server (along with other functions).  The following will be down for a few hours:

1) Serial Generation

2) Serial activation

3) News

4) GC Metaverse

I can play MV games now, but I see that the empire scores have not updated for a couple days now.  Any ETA on when that might be fixed?

I can't play MV games at all now.  I can log into this account to make postings and I am obviosuly connected to the net.  Is the MV down?

Hmm...I had that problem a few days ago, but I can play and submit games now.  Or at least I could the day before yesterday, but I havent tried since then.

I do see that at least three people in my empire submitted games today.

I assume that this has / had no bearing on MV games that were already begun. Correct?
