Installing Tweakvista using Impulse

from Stardock Forums

I have bought the full version and have received the serial number and a link to Impulse. I have also downloaded Impulse.

 

Unfortunately the link in the email only points me to the Impulse general site and not to the specific Tweakvista download.

 

How on earth do I install the full version???

Install Impulse and login with the stardock.net account info that you created when purchasing TweakVista. After loggin-in click on the 'My Desktop' tab and TweakVista will be available for downloading.

To register TweakVista you can click on the question mark and selet 'Register a product', then at the bottom of the next screen select 'Add Registration'. Complete the required fields and you should be all set.

I cannot install the update for TweakVista right from the beginning - installed one version and that was it! I am currently on version 1.10.014 and have an ODNT subscription.

I always get this message:

Experiencing network difficulties (0.0%) - An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

Normally I try to use the Stardock Central program to download updates, because that program works!

However, since Stardock wants us to use an extremely bad program for their updates the Central is not updated anymore and TweakVista cannot be updated ever more.

Anyone is having this same problem and knows the solution?

Your best bet is to start with a full build of Impulse. - Impulse Client - Full

We can go from there.

You should not have to add the registration for TweakVista manually. It should be ready to download via the 'My Desktop' tab.
