Build Orders for Newbies?

Just started playing, and did all the tutorials. Tried playing an actual game and felt a bit lost.

Is there a page that has a bunch of strategy guides/ build orders?

first, chek out the strategy forum, there are a ffew threads going about this atm

The following takes place in the first 5 sec of the game

--------

 

Build a capship factory

sell 100 metal

buy planetary upgrade

build a crystal extraktor( getting it first is about 30 sec extra crystal incomr good at the beginning)

build 2 x metal extraxtors

queue up the capship of your choice(colonizer for advent / vasari - marza or kol for TEC) the first one is free

from here it is much more playstyle and map dependant, but the first thing you sshould colonize is an astroid( cheaper / faster to get them to give a profit)

Nah that build order is wrong. Selling Metal does nothing, you sohudl buy 100 crystal instead. You do not need to queue all 3 extractors right away because u only have 2 cosntruction drones, so they cant build all of em right away. I usually do this:

 

Build crystal extractor, build cap factory

buy 100 crystal

get planet upgrade

queue up 3 scouts

then you caa wait for the credits for your other extractors, u usually get them before you are done with cap shipyard.
