IGN Names Sins of a Solar Empire the Best PC Game of 2008

This is the best news I've gotten in a long time. 

It's fantastic news!

if any game deserved it this year, it was this one.

Congratulations to the entire team.  Devs, directors, engineers, artists, marketing team, web dev team.

Everyone.  It was a victory well-earned.  It's a gift that keeps on giving.  Thanks, guys.

You were just pipped for best multiplayer as well. As it is, you should definitely (crosses fingers) pick up their overall award for Best Strategy Game and give ridiculously high budget games a run for their money, pardon the pun, in the other catergories. Finally an extra congrats to the crew at Stardock for GCII:Twilight of the Arnor picking up the Best Expansion award. Here's hoping Entrenchment and the 2 other expansions fare as well come this time next year.

There's only one problem. This isn't the best PC game of 08. It's the best PC game of the decade. 

Wow! This is great! Thanks to everyone in the community who supported us, especially the beta testers. The game wouldn't be in the state it is now without your honesty and diligence. This is only a start of many great things to come

Congrats to IronClad and StarDock! It's a fantastic achievement well deserved, and it shows that innovation and entreprenuership is alive and well.. Little guys with big dreams can and do make it all the way!
