Competition was tight, the votes coming in fast and furious and the outcome unclear right up until the end.  But after making sure all the votes were on the up-and-up, we’re ready to announce the winners of Most Usable WindowBlinds skin for the 2008 GUI Championships.

Based on the finalists selected by myself, Brad Wardell & Angela Marshall and voted on by our community of users, here are the winners:

Why a "Plain Jane" won this is beyond me.. There were more skins, more deserving then plain and boring old freearena.

Why someone can take a skin and do the absolute minimum and win! Is flabergasting!

well i dont like the first one and i dont like the second one but i do like the 3d very good for the kids,,and nicely done,,as for the first two i thought this was a talent compertition,,

IF the result is based on user voting, then people need to vote than waiting for others to do it for you.

Saying a skin looks good with all the right words does not make it a winner automatically.

I've witnessed skins being downloaded 10,000000 times with only 25 comments left.

It ain't right!

It's time to get involved and give back.
