George W. Bush is a CHEATER

Ad-gate 2004

In light of the not-so-recent "Cookie Gate", some more interesting, more PERTINENT news has come forth from the same light.

Daily Kos has recently brought about one of Bush's campaign ads in which there's sufficient doctoring that has taken place. (Link, halfway down the page).

I know you'll say "Well Daily Kos is just another liberal slanted propaganda site", but the fact remains that this IS a doctored ad and the Bush campaign has even acknowledged it and pledged to re-edit it (Link). Two days after pledging to recall the ad, I've still seen no change; the ad ran this morning in Ohio and still showed the same soldier(s) in three separate places.

I understand this has been a poorly compiled article, but the honesty of the Bush campaign shines through all too brightly. Not only did they doctor the photo (poorly I might add) to look as if more soldiers support the President, but did not recall the advertisement as stated. If everyone blew up about the POTENTIAL First Lady lying, then SURELY the kind, understanding people of JU will yield a similar reaction when they discover our COMMANDER IN CHIEF is lying and cheating and not doing anything about it.

Why should we. A lot of us see John Kerry as a traitor! Sorry, personally I'll take a liar over a traitor any day.

Therein lies the reason I have so little sympathy for the contingent you speak for.
* Step 1: Characterize in terms of exaggerated evil.
* Step 2: Feel justified in responding with evil.
* Step 3: Wrap youself in the flag and claim the high ground.
As long as we accuse others of being really bad, we can be as evil as we want.
I suppose that people have done this sort of thing for time out of mind, but if you are looking for my reason for voting for a mediocrity like Kerry, you need look no further than this kind of ugliness.

Kerry went to Vietnam Bush hid in Texas during Vietnam

Kerry did his duty and Bush disobayed requlations and orders.

Although I do not like some of the things Kerry said in 1970-71, he had that right as an American. Remenber the Constitution and there were "some" who did things in Vietnam, that were not right. Our policy was wrong because we did not have the support of the American People nor did we fight the Vitenam War to win. That was not becaure of the military but because of the civilian leadership. Most military experts now admit, the Vietnam war was error. Remenber the domino theory- Pure BS and we killed 58,000 Americans, injures 100,000's of thousands and still suffer today from the error made not by the military but the civilian leaders of the time!

What Kerry did after he came home is the issue and if you don't understand that you need to pull you head out of the sand. Kerry is a traitor, pure and simple. By his own mouth and actions he has shown it. The meeting in Paris with the NVA leaders in 1970/71 was unauthorized and he was still a member of our armed forces.

If Kerry had altered a photo like this, Drmiler would have been #1 on the list of folks who bitched about it.

I notice that most all the ppl that made fun of Teresa for her unoriginal cookie recipe are strangely reticent about this example of dishonesty.

I guess I"m confused here.  Are you suggesting that Bush hasn't given a speech in front of the troops before?

Isn't the point of the image that Bush has spoken in front of the troops in the past? Does anyone deny this?

We "doctor" images here all the time if we don't have a ready made image. As long as the point it is trying to illustrate is true it's not a "lie" or "cheat".

If Kerry broke the law , he would have been charged at the time. Nixon did not like Kerry and would have gone after him had he done anything that was even close to illegel. The issues that we face today are what are important not rehashing 35 years ago. Look at what not providing enough troops in Iraq are doing today--Killing American troops. Today the AP had a article that says 250,000 tons of weapons are missing in Iraq. Bush screwed up big time and Americans have died because of his choices!

Hey Andy, I know a lot of people aren't agreeing with you. But you got me here. I'm with you all the way! I really don't like either man too well, but I like Kerry a lot better than Bush!

Kerry "faked" plenty of photos -- they were called "moving pictures" and they were from Kerry's "re-enactments" of events in Viet Nam, or did some folks on the left conveniently forget Kerry's "home movies"?

Kerry's campaign and his friends in the media "faked" memos about Bush's guard service and made sure that CBS took the story and ran with it as close to the election as they possibly could.

Finally, Kerry's friends in the media, and in the international community, drug up an old report about possibly missing weapons caches and tried to run with that story at the end of the election cycle.

I guess I shouldn't bother to include that those discredit swift boat guys still have outstanding claims about Kerry's medals that could be resolved by Kerry's own signature on an SF-180 that should completely and thoroughly discredit those folks once and for all (if Kerry is telling the truth). Of course, up to this point, those "discredit"ed swifties have been found to be truthful in their documented versions of events -- including after-action reports that were WRITTEN BY KERRY HIMSELF that match basically verbatim to the materials published in "Unfit for Command".

And I guess I really shouldn't go on about the articles that hit the media about one week ago (with very little fan-fare from the major media) that speculated that the reason that Kerry really doesn't want to sign an SF-180 is that his discharge may have been less than honorable until he went before a board of review that shouldn't have been necessary if he had gotten an honorable discharge to begin with.


So, really, Kerry and friends haven't manipulated anything and their just pristine little choir boys who have done absolutely nothing wrong in this election cycle. Yeah..... right.

(I hate politcs...with such a hearfelt anger....tearing the country apart....only healing in the 4yrs between elections...only to be savagely ripped apart yet again)

Sometimes there are those who will not let it heal at all, example could be the Bush stole the Election crowd, otherwise I have yet to live during a time when this was the case. The two majors are getting so divisive it is sickening.
