Solved: Crashes on Robot Missions

hi,

i have the download-version of SR2. the training  robot mission runs just fine but other missions only start after i open the Task Manager (ALT+CTRL+DEL) and klick on the "click me" task in the panel. the mission starts but after some minutes i'm on my desktop.

is there a way to fix this?

i have xp with sp3, latest drivers and latest dx9

I had a crash/exception in the same place originally, and it seemed to be related to the resolution I selected (in the options) for the planetary battles.  I originally selected 1280x960 (for a widescreen effect on my 1680x1050 monitor).   When I selected 1280x1024 resolution it worked OK.  Hope this helps for you too.
