Click Through Avoidance

If I have object dock positioned on the right side of my screen, when I get ready to close IE or FireFox, OD come forward in front of the browser and it prevents me from closing the browser.  Other than moving the dock to another position on the desktop, is there a way to prevent this.

Thank You,

Mike H

Pardon me for the somewhat obvious response, but I'm sure you could resize your browser window such that it does not overlap with the dock.

Maybe I don't understand the precise nature of the problem, but it seems to me that if your Dock is overlapping with the min-max-close buttons in a maximized window, then this isn't just a problem with web-browsing--it would impact any full-sized window application that you may be running. If that's the case, this may simply be a bad choice of places to have your Dock located.

Does anyone know (it's been a while since I've run OD+, b/c of things I've read regarding Vista x64 compatibility) if there are hotkeys that can be programmed to show/hide docks? That might be a potential workaround.

Do you have screenshots that show the problem you can post?

Thank You For your response.  I want to appologize placing my dock in a place that it shouldn't be.  I will certainly move it to another place on the desktop.  Just a silly little idea though, a "Keep Dock on The bottom" might just be a good idea for OD".  Every other application that runs on the desktop has one.  I wish everyone a very happy holiday and a prosperious new year.  And please, no responses are necessary...

g'Day....

If you select the checkbox "Reserve edge of the screen", your application window will not use OB's area of the screen.
