Icons in Objectdock keeps defaulting back - Help

I have IconPacker and ObjectDock but my icons on objectdock will not stay.  They keep changing.  I have been on the computer all night searching and trying to fix this problem.  I even loaded new icon packages to fix this.  The icons on the dock keep changing back to the ugly green question mark icon.  Help because it messes up my load desktop. X(   On the change icon screen (properties) it has the icon I choose, but the icon on the dock does not change.  It's just struck there.

 

Solve the problem:  I wasn't receiving much help so got my mind to working. 

1. Go to main program through menu

2. Change Icon

3. Create shortcut of new program

4. Add new shortcut on Dock

5. Drag to shortcut to new dock location

And do not delete shortcuts

 

This worked for me.  I am posting just in case I forget.  Hope this helps someone else.  :')

which icons? some or all?

normal shortcut icons? docklet icons? sysmetrix icons?

hrm. where are these icons? on the same drive your windows installation is on? if not, try copying them to that one just to see if that help (diagnostics step). thanks

All Icons under Iconpackers and they are all located on the same drive with the progam under the C:\ Drive.

Yeah and some of them loaded, the defaults, computer, documents folder and trash can.  Only because I let theme change

all my icons on the computer so that all references of the trash can throughout the computer are the same ones.  But to

change program icons is the ones that I can't change to what I want them to be.
