Interesting, very interesting. It seems corruption knows no boundaries, or political party.

I've been combing articles about this and, strangely enough, virtually none of them precede the term Governor with the word 'Democratic'.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it.  Sure.  Probably so.  Bias can't possibly be ingrained that deeply.  Nah.  Surely not.  Silly of me to even think of that.

I actually noticed the same thing but chose not to point it out to see how far this story would go. The only thing I saw that gave any indication at all of a Democrat link was the story on Foxnews.com that said the following:

The charges also relate to allegations that Blagojevich and Harris schemed with previously convicted defendants and Obama associates Antonin Rezko, Stuart Levine, Ali Ata and others to arrange financial benefits in exchange for appointments to state boards and commissions, state employment, state contracts and access to state funds.

and

Fitzgerald also said, "'We make no allegations" that Obama was aware of any alleged scheming by Blagojevich.

Other than that, I would have never guessed unless I would have researched who the Governor was.

According to the Today Show this morning it makes 4 in a row (I think they actually said 4 in 4 years).

On the last part - I can understand.  They flunked math!  But on the first part - WOW!  I knew they were bad, but 4 in a row?  I think they just overtook NJ!

I'm not sure if they flunked math or not, I really wasn't paying close attention to what they were saying, it was the Today Show afterall, so I could have gotten the number of years wrong but I know they said 4 governors in a row as they had pictures of the other 3 on the screen at the time.
