Personalized spell lists

I'm always thinking of how to add more Ars Magica

from Elemental Forums

It strikes me that the mod community will be able to add new spells to the game (probably?).

I'd very much like to see spells added in thematic groups, that way you could choose one or more groups of spells to use for your character as they progress in the game.  So I would start off the game with the option of choosing the spell book of Ranulf of Flambeau, Hermanus the Architect, or Lambert the Trader.

You can mod techs in GalCiv2, so it seems reasonable to expect spell mods for Elemental. And I like the idea of being able to mix in some themed user-made spell books with the builtin stuff (I guess I'm still assuming we'll have something similar to the shelf-o-spell-books model that MoM used).
