Final Submission Deadline Tonight!

With the judging and user voting phases for the WindowBlinds and IconPackager categories coming up early next week, tonight is the final deadline for all submissions to the 2008 GUI Championships.

At 11:59pm EST, the server will stop accepting new uploads of Dreams, Icons and WindowBlinds skins, and will also no longer accept updates to posted skins.  This means if you have any changes, you're running out of time to upload them.

Over the next few days, our judge panel will review the WindowBlinds and IconPackager entries and cast our votes for the finalists.  Starting on Tuesday, December 9th we will open up user voting for Most Original & Most Usable Icons and WindowBlinds skins.  User voting for the Best Overall events will take place from December 15th to 18th.

So we're only a few hours away from the submission deadline and two weeks from the final winners announced.  Keep your eyes peeled to the GUIC Site for news, announcements and what is bound to be a flurry of last-minute skin submissions tonight.

I processed the last skins that made it into moderation before the midnight deadline.  Now it's on to judging and the final rounds of user voting.

NT.. lol @ your avatar.. thats priceless, Ive been quiet past three days because a contractor from rival ISP 'accidentally' sliced thru one of the thick lines underground that feed our street.

No surpises here though, I've already played my best hand.
