This may not be the best place to ask this, and I apologize if this isn't the proper forum Im interested in starting a blog, though I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for it. Could someone point me in the right direction?

If you mean on this site it's fairly easy. On this site go to the upper right hand corner under the blinking orange "RSS" button is an underlined "My Blog". Click on it. On the same side of the page about 1 1/2-2" down is a little planet earth and next to it it says "my blog". Click on that and follow the prompts to finish. Remember how you got there so you can get back to enter articles in your blog. And BTW, "Good Luck"!
