Lost serial number for original SR2 after buying reboot

I bought SR1 and 2 together years ago and have long since lost the manual with the serial number on it.  Luckily, the game still runs but I noticed that some of the key features I was looking forward to such as greater repair discounts at military bases and more tranculator functions are not included in reboot.  They are actually part of SR2 patches.  Is there any way for me to patch up SR2 without the serial number or will I have to go buy another copy of SR2?

Curiously on the recent reinstallation of SR2 I wasn't even asked for a serial number.  Perhaps it's in my system somewhere.

Nevermind, I realized the patches for SR2 aren't needed when you install reboot.  The reason I couldn't get my tranc to collect items and stuff was because you need to have radar installed in order to talk to people.  I always fly blind early in the game when space is a premium.
