Can't Register Legitimate New Code (GC2 Ultimate Edition)

I've purchased a legitimate new copy of Galactic Civilizations 2 - Ultimate Edition from Amazon UK.

 

It has what appears to be a legitimate code which is accpeted when I install the game. However, Impulse is not recognising it or accepting it when I try to add a registration, It is saying it is not a proper Stardock code.

 

Anyone have any advise on how to fix this please ? I don't want to play it until I have it patched. This is not a Collectors Edition and is a Stardock / Kalypso version.

GC2 Ultimate Edition is not yet supported on impulse :( (which is why you can't register)

but it will be soon according to stardock's employees \o/

GC2 UL support is expected to come at the same time as GC2 EU (Endless Universe)

I wouldn't go that far.  It's still a great game even if it's not the latest version.  Also, we don't have any indications as to how long it might be, so you may be waiting some time.
