This is my taskbar, start button and start menu.  How do I get rid of that annoying piece of a user icon at the top left corner of the start menu?

start menu > top part > extra > hide the user picture

That fixed it!  Thanks Birchur.  Now on to fix my other blunders and skin the rest of the blind!
